From my American standpoint of "It is a matter of principle" I don't think it was a good decision. I'd rather fail any test than cut my hair for someone else; but.......

I can't pretend to understand the full situation, though, If its a situation where a certain type of haircut is important for students, and if your hair doesn't match that, I suppose I can see how a professor may make an issue of "non-compliance" with a code and choose to factor that into your grade. Some schools require a certain type of haircut (military schools in the U.S. for example), so if that's the kind of situation you're in maybe cutting the hair was reasonable.

Whether or not getting your hair cut is not the problem here. No one should be provided points for doing something that is totally personal. Under the circumstances, I would have done the same. Good luck on your exams. Do study hard. This is the first day of the rest of your life. Always do your best.

Be passive and polite. Listen and hair what your friends have to say. Go there, hair, and everywhere. Hair is an example: Be bold. Better hairy up.

Sue them, and sue them for big. They'll suffer. They are coercing you to act, using force and threats.
