I use baking soda. It works and is cheap to buy.

Try some lime away? what type of faucet is it? most spots will come right off with that if not depending on your kind of faucet try some ''Easy off bam spray that will work also

It depends on the finish. Lime Away will work on most. You can also try some baking soda. There is also a product called BarKeeper's Friend that works on some surfaces.

CLR removes calcium, lime and rust... works great on bathroom fixtures.... also great for cleaning hard water deposits from shower heads.

Comet Spray Bathroom cleaner. If you use it regularly they won't form either.

Believe it or not, VINEGAR. It's cheap. It will not ruin the finish (some products can etch certain finishes), and what the heck, everybody has some in the cupboard.

If done regularly (say three times a week), and no real scum builds up, windex works GREAT!
