If someone travels 3000 miles to meet her favorite actor at a convention,does that person merit the prestigious title of "stalker"?

No I don't think so. Sometimes your favorite celeb never comes to your area. I've been known to travel 8 hours to see certain concerts. because they are never in Connecticut. I was gonna go to PA to see a concert, but to my amazement they came to my state, yay me. Stalker status is when after you go 3000 miles to see mentioned celeb you get all retarded and follow them EVERYwhere they go after the show.

No, it's not that uncommon. People follow bands around for whole tours sometimes. Stalking comes in when it's a constant drive... calls, letters, email, non stop intrusiveness.
A person that has issues with OCD are more prone to stalking and being a paparazzi!!

If she had to beg, borrow or steal to get the money to do this, I'd say she's pretty obsessed. If she has the money and time, nothing wrong with that.

i think that it labels you having too much free time on your hands but there are millions who come out every year to see their fave stars.
