Hey Jake, sounds real good. Just keep working hard and don't look back. Man you got something real going on here, sounds like maybe a personal experiance in your life helped you out in this song, I don't know but man it sounds good to me! I think it;s alright, but it doesn't rhyme too much. Instead of "eye contact", you could put
"if only our eyes could meet
if only I could see her face
But does she still think of me?
What I'd give for one last kiss
again..."
or for the chorus:
"Will she still know my name?
Will she still know my face?
Will she ever know how
I feel...
Does she still think it's real?"

OMG!! i luv your song!!! it was HOT!!! i wish i could start a band, but i dont know how to write songs and when i do i never finish!! well i hope everything goes great with the band and everything!!!
