does the white dwarf star, neutron star, black dwarf star, and protostar burn their fuel fast or slow??? which ones burn fast and which ones burn slow??

I would say that the only one of these that "burns its fuel" is the protostar, which is a newly born star. The others are remnants of dead stars.

White dwarfs are basically glowing from the heat left over from when it was actually burning its fuel. A black dwarf is a white dwarf that has cooled off and no longer glows at all. (These are suspected not to exist yet because the universe is not old enough for even the oldest white dwarfs to have cooled off enough not to glow any longer)

Neutron stars are left behind after supernovae. I don't read anywhere that they are burning fuel, either, so put them under 'slow' with the other slowpokes.
