I respect anyone who "steps up to the plate" to serve my country in the military service, in office, or volunteering to help others. I'm not sure that Letterman has done any of these things, President Bush is deserving of such respect.

I suggest you become politically active to change the things you do not like about America and give up the whining.

If a guy like Bush can become president of the united states on a technicality then convince the american people to vote for him AGAIN, I really admire someone who can pull that off.

PRESIDENT Bush. The man has a title that commands respect... use it.

... I like David Letterman, too, though. But he hasn't done anything to make me respect him... I think he's funny, that's it.

I respect my president, as more people should.

Letterman by a long shot. I enjoy his rightist humor and his witty personality. Plus atleast he cares national issues...

LETTERMAN RULES!
