They are both religious terrorists. I cannot think of any difference. Why isn't the war on terror fought like the FBI fought the KKK?

KKK is a punch of thugs. Al Quida is a makor terrorist organization. KKK mostly just tries to scare people, Al Qaida has murdered thousands. KKK never had international support. They are as different as horse chestnuts & chestnut horses.

The Klan's biggest problem was all the lawsuits they lost, they had to pay millions. Suing al qaeda, not to mention forcing them to pay, will be a bit tougher.

They are one and the same. They attack American citizens on American soil, blow up churches, treat women like second class citizens, and more.

I don't understand how the KKK is protected by free speech while their brothers in Al-Qaeda go to Gitmo.
