However, if you really want to learn you should get a live teacher or you will likely not be a very good player. That is my experience with people that teach themselves to play, but their are some exceptions. Even just a few months of lessons would get you off to a much better start. A computer can't correct you when you are doing something wrong and bad habits can be very hard to break later. Can't afford a teacher? Then get a friend that plays well to help you out when you begin.
