I plan to go on a skiing trip this March, but no idea where to at this time of the year. Is Switzerland a good option? I'm open to other suggestions.

Zermatt Switzerland is the best quintessential Swiss Alps skiing experience and please go early march so you wont be disappointed by lack of snow.
Fly to Zurich and catch the train right inside the airport for a direct train to Zermatt. It will cost you about 40USD one way and takes about 4 1/2 hours.
Please book now, do not wait any longer.

Switzerland is a very good option! In March a couple of years ago it was very warm, so I'd stick to a higher resort like Zermatt or Verbier just to be safe, also because we've had a VERY warm start to the snow season in Switzerland. The higher resorts will have more snow if the general conditions aren't so great.

But today it's snowing down to 300 metres, so it's looking good.

Switzerland is great.
Also consider Sweden, Norway, and the French Alps
