We would need information if you want more than a generic answer. What is in the can? How long ago did you buy it? What do the instructions say to use to clean up any excess spray?

Did you try using a straight pin to clean out the hole in the nozzle. Also remove the nozzle and clean it out. Soak the nozzle in solvent.

Turn the can upside down and try spraying, on and off a couple of times. It might help.

I have found that if the can has been out in the garage where it is cold it won't spray. If I am going to spray paint something I bring it into the house a day ahead to let it warm up. Also once I am finished spraying something I always turn the can upside down and spray a little it cleans out the nozzle.
Hope this helps..

I always try to find a different spray nozzle for mine. When and if you get it working again it will start dripping in the middle of your painting project

sometimes holding your finger over the hole in the nozzle and pumping it up will help to build up pressure in the can, other wise just running some water over the nozzle to clean it before shaking it well,

if it's too old, it can loose the aerosol.
also, there's probably a hole in the bottom of the can where there USED to be a black rubber plug.
