I think you'll find that these figures will always be misleading. They will usually contain all or some Department of Defense expenditures that we would have had whether we were in Iraq or not.

It might be better to apply an inflation rate and compare the DOD expenditures during the Clinton years and those of the Bush years. (Remember that Clinton had his own war against Iraq during his entire presidency, and there were considerable expenditures for patrolling the no-fly zones. Not as much as activating reserves and the use of ordinance and smart bombs, though.)

And also take into account the amounts we're spending on rebuilding Iraq. By the time you get down to the actual amounts for the war, your number will be very different than what you're hearing in the media or at questionable web sites.

If you agree with it not enough, if you don't too much, whats you choice, looking internally or externally, History may tell you that when the us intervened in the 1st world war and 2nd world war you made a difference.
Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq a different war altogether, all perhaps a war that cant be won.
As for a website good luck !

Not even close to as much as the Dems will spend fighting global warming (like it will do any good).

Sit back and watch, grasshopper.

A lot. I'm in Iraq right now and I'm losing my mind. I'm so horny I don't know what to do with myself. There just aren't enough females here. I'd masturbate, but that's not at all easy to do. They don't sell porn, allow us to view porn sites or allow porn to be sent in the mail. I don't have much of an imagination anymore. I'm doomed.

I think they have a sign at the Pentagon, kind of like the one they have at McDonalds---"billions and billions" of dollars spent.

Too damn much to still have poor people on the streets, hungry children, and a poor education system in most inner cities.
