They're 'industrial jungle pu55y punk', according to the band description; and Wikipedia says they're 'a blend of punk rock, nu metal, techno, electro, and hip-hop.'
Mindless Self Indulgence sound like nothing else I've ever heard and are wicked cool IMO! However, they do get a lot of flak for using offensive words such as n1gg3r and f4gg0t (One of their songs is actually called ******). Subjects in their song include being gay (F4gg0t), and other related topics.
Shut Me Up is my personal favourite of theirs, but I'm not the best person to ask what song you should listen to to get a feel for the band.

even though i usually dont like rock but this is a great song it is called Wild Side by Motley Crue so that is always a good band but for rock there is also Korn or System Of A Down

Dream Theater, Stratovarius, Iron Savior, Liquid Tension Expirement, Sonata Arctica, and Vertical Horizon.
My older brothers are into all of these bands, and they've really grown on me, too- especially Dream Theater!

The Ramones had the classic denims/leather jacket/t-blouse/badass seem. The sex Pistols are probable my in demand searching band and performance the honestly imperative punk seem, no longer effective if that counts for the rock seem. I accept as true with the guy who stated the Strokes, they have a strong slick, we do not provide a **** photo. a cushty McJagger is probable between the most acceptable prototypes what with the studded belts and bracelets and and so on. Edit: draw close C, you probable must have placed punk in citation marks, the Casualties are a parody of punk seem and sound sensible, a rip off of the Exploited (who in my opinion are not properly worth ripping off in any respect). And damn you and Prof. Anger for beating me to the Ramones, i am going to get you both.

I love Coheed and Cambria simply because their music is unmistakable. And the lead singer sounds just like the lead singer in Rush, a band I grew up listening to from my father. And all their CDs tell a story, too. Oh, and the guitar playing is AWESOME.
