- They stole our jobs
- They are JUST not welcomed here.
- They broke the law (and doing so, showed great disrespect to our country)

To them I would say "Hola, como estas?" To you and everyone else who's answered the question so far I'd say "What has gone so wrong in your life that you could hate an entire group of people with whom you've never had a single conversation?" Don't forget that at one time or another all our ancestors came to this country without permission. Granted, as a white american, my ancestors chose to come here, were not forced to. But my ancestors, and probably most of yours, came to this country for the same reasons Mexicans and Central Americans are coming now - to provide for their families because the economic situation in their home country is so bleak they have no other choice.

Before you express such a strong opinion about 'illegal' immigration do yourself the service of at least learning a little about why people are forced to do it. I don't have kids but when I do I'm sure I would too whatever it took to provide for them, and I for one have a deep respect for anyone who would risk their life to provide for their kids.

for one thing, i wouldn't be talking to them. if i were forced to talk to them, i would say that i don't socialize with criminals, and what they're doing is criminal if they've come into the USA illegally. if it were a "friend" or acquaintance i'd made prior to the knowledge of their "alien" status, i would just tell them that it's a stone in my shoe and i need to clear the air. i would not be able to respect them or continue a relationship with them unless they did the right thing and registered with immigration and did it legally. how would you react? what would you say? i'm curious.

I would have to say....

-An American gave him/her a job.
-An American welcomed them here.
-An American helped them break the law to get here.

Americans are grrrrrreat!

you mean ILLEGAL aliens?

I'm not so sure they 'stole our jobs' necessarily. I think mostly they do jobs that 'we' don't want to do (or couldn't survive on the wages)

I would, however, say "Learn some English, please"
