one of my friends told me using this intake will make me lose a couple mpg. with this intake will I ?

i own a repair shop,and your going to loose gas mileage and lower end power real bad with that one,,its designed to run on fast tracks,and will deliver good top end speed,but terrible for low end torque and horse power,i wouldn't put it on a street machine ,good luck,i hope this help,s.

You will loose mileage, also it will affect your idle. If you use it with a stock cam it won't help your power any, you will loose power. When you get into that intakes power range you will be out of the cams power range. Balance your parts for the best performance.

Yes that is a high rise, and no you wont lose MPG's.
