Does anybody know where I can find information relating to rankings for masters programs in public relations and/or advertising? I know US News releases rankings but I haven't been able to find it for this specific program. I am more interested in finding what the difference is between programs in different schools. I also want to get an idea of how selective a program is in different schools.

Does anybody know what schools are considered "good" for public relations or advertising? Especially on the east or west coast and in the midwest?

Most rankings are about the school. It would be hard to find comparisons between a specific concentrations within the business programs. If you go to a school in which the business school/program has a good ranking then that's enough.

I am deeply suspicious of such rankings. In fact, I am more than suspicious; I reject them out of hand. If you are asking about a graduate program I presume you have an undergraduate degree? Talk with some of your professors in an area related to PR/advertising and get their views. Then when you have some names of schools go to their websites for the nuts and bolts of who has what etc. Personal recommendations and advice from knowledgeable people can't be beaten.

Good luck.
