Also when is a good time to use weed and feed on my lawn?

First, cut back on irrigation. Run it only 2x or max 3x a week, and only if it doesn't rain. If you have rotor heads that turn, run them only 30-45 minutes each time. Spray heads that just pop up but do not turn: only run 10 minutes max. Dollar Weed is a sign of two much water on your turf.
The main weed killer for Florida St Augustine Grass is Atrazine. It helps some with Dollar Weed, but I have not found it to be especially effective. Speed Zone is better but must be used carefully. If you have Dollar Weed you probably also have another weed known as Nutsedge. It likes too much water too. A treatment called "Manage" is listed for Nutsedge, not for Dollar Weed, but it seems to be pretty effective for Dollar Weed too. (It is against the law to apply a chemical to a lawn which does not contain any of the specific weeds listed on the bag, so that would make it illegal to apply Manage unless you do indeed have Nutsedge in your yard as well.)

Well here is my two cents worth for this question.... Please let me coin the answer.

It might take a few nickles and dimes but I would invest in a good weed killer. Buy one of those direct spray models and direct spray.

There are some organic sprays where you use a quarter water, and they can be sprayed direct also.
