ok jade may have been a b***h but most girls are when they gang together.but i really don't agree with all the media hype about her being racist especially when she is half cast her self! i believe it's another excuse to cause trouble where not needed.all those complainers out there who believe her to be racist , then think in exactly what it was that made you think that way ,or is it just that white people are'nt allowed to argue with other races. sometimes in life you just don't get on well with some people and i feel white people are being held to think that they are treading on egg shells around some other races in case they are accused of racism. i do believe there is racism in the world but not in this case.
also i heard a comment from jermaine in the house stating jackie to be "white trash ", this to me is racist as it is attacking the colour of her skin as a weapon.immagine this sentance "brown trash", i bet there would have been complete uproar if that was said!!!

Totally agree. Jermaine Jackson forgets what life was like before The Jackson 5 became famous. At least Jade and her mother are honest, and if they make a mistake, they apologise for it. I've yet to hear BB call Jermaine into the diary room and ask him why he said "white trash".

In my opinion, Jade G. is a bully not a racist.
I didn't care for Shilpa at the start of BB but after watching the way the three women, Jade, Jo, and Danielle, seemed to enjoy being in their mean little group against her I started to want to be in there to stand by Shilpa and tell the other women to stop it. It has nothing to do with race, as I would do the same no matter what creed or colour the person being bullied was.
Why didn't Cleo or Dirk, or indeed anyone, stand up to the bullies ....I know Mr. Jackson did but even he left it a while to do so.
Mr. Jackson's remark about white trash was racist, and it disappointed me to hear that remark come from him. I thought he was such a gentleman. I still find it hard to believe that he thinks like that.I would have expected more from him.
I try to live in the here-and-now and try not to dwell on past wrongs. This is quite hard to do but it is the only way we can move forward.
Creed or colour does not matter to me. It is the person that counts. Therefore, I will not be told I am a racist if I happen to not get along with a person who's skin is a different colour than mine, or who is from a different cultural backround than I. If he/she is deserving of it they will hear of my disagreement but I will neither bully or be bullied into submission.
Imagine standing in Shilpa's shoes and Jade, a stranger, is loseing her temper in front of you and you call on the woman called Jo for help and you are left on your own......................not a nice place to be. I wish I had been there. I would have told the three of them that they were the most awful bullies.
To sum up.....Jade G. was not being racist.She is a Bully.
Mr. Jackson's remark was racist.

I totally agree with you, I don't like Jade much but I have found myself defending her at all cost because the punishment has been so much worse than the crime. I think the media has blown the whole thing out of proportion. A few words that could be seen a detrimental to a race, and see what has happened even Gordan Brown had to get involved. So many people have been subjected to malicious abuse in the big brother house, but as it wasn't considered that it could be racist, nothing was said much about it. The Welsh ex model was ostracised and had a really bad time, but did the Welsh complain and say everyone in the big brother house must being anti - Welsh. There are names such as POM which means prisoner of her/his majesty, do the British go mad when the Australians call them that?

rasism is bad no matter what. but the term white trash is used for ingorant white people, and there are some that are complete white trash. however cant we all just get along i mean. face it this world is gonna end up with all of us breeding together( or marrying and having children i state it this way so its not offencive) and form one perect race. nor black nor white nor nothing just 1 perfect human being so stop the hating both the brown girl and the white girl lets all get together and make that perfect human

2)the p.a she chose some weeks ago is black.
3)i think big brother has made a lot of money as they intended on the basis that they had a preconceived idea that something like this would happen.

The program is designed to be contentious.
Its only got so out of proportion because its what the gutter press and Ch.4 thrive on.
Then we have the added misfortune of the stereotypical viewer for a program as utterly cr@p as bigbrother being nothing more than totally stupid and idiotic with not a brain cell in any head.

in the end who cares let them think what they want "white trash" or otherwise it's not going to keep me up nights why does it bother you? i haven't tip toed around folks for quite sometime now nor do i intend to start again whether or not i like someone has never depended on what colour they are ( white, black, yellow, brown, green, blue) i don't care i like and dislike everybody equally depending on the person they are not the group they're with. just let people think what they want complaining about it won't change anything, in the end they're the ones that have to live with it not you

Your catching on young lady! That is the liberal way. As white people you are to be held accountable for every little thing you say, even if it's taken out of context (if it's not what you meant to say)! On the other hand anyone can say anything they want about white people and it's o.k.! In fact, they can have demonstrations against white people and it's o.k.(Million Man March) They can have organizations against white people and it's o.k.(NAACP) They can have riots against white people and it's o.k. (LA) Try starting the ''National Association for the Advancement of White People'' and see what happens!

I was most amused when her mother said, 'How can Jade be racist when she is of mixed race'. By this is she saying that only white people can be racist? The overall attitude of those involved in the house was childish - instead of rational discussion they resorted to personal abuse, which unfortunately the innocent Shilpa had to suffer....Ignorance and stupidity won on that day!!!
