Of course Serena has a chance she is one of the greatest ever woman tennis players and always has a chance when she gets past the early rounds. I would say she is third most likely to be the winner behind either Clijsters or Sharapova I would agree in saying that she is underprepared and unfit... have you seen her chubby thighs... although Serena is one of the best ever.

If she makes to a grand slam final, she almost always wins. She just does about ANYTHING (jumping, dancing, shrieking) to get out of seemingly impossible situations and grips the match under her belt. I also like her confidence to stand right in the middle of the court like a wild buffalo and smash anything that comes to her side. The chances of Clijsters and Sharapova are better than those of Serena, but you can never say how she is going to come out. Everyone thought she would be thrown out of the competition by Jankovic, and she won that 6-3 6-2, moving around the court even better than Kim Clijsters!!

Yes she most definately can. People say that she is out of shape, well she has go this far and i see no signs of dieing out. Her atheliticism will win here through. I think if she gets Sharapova in the finals she will have a great chance because her game matches up very well with sharapovas.

I'd love to see Lleyton doing well, but I honestly wouldn't expect that. I think that Murray and Federer will go far in the men's tourney. While the big games of the Williams Sisters and Maria Sharapova will take centre stage at the women's tourney. =]

yeah its still very much within her reach.
she's playing extroadinarily well as normal.
howver i would like to see someone else win for a change.
she tends to dominate the womens tennis circle.
i hope this year is different.
