Straightened hair, pulled back in a high ponytail with sideswept fringe was my preppy staple. Ribbon bows are especially cute.

At my high school, for guys, it diffently is the shaggy look. no buzz cuts around here. guys let their hair grow down to just over their ears.

look at avatars, go in a magazine and look at all of the stars hair. a classic is to either use a flat iron and straignt it or do really really loose curls(wavy) with curling iron
