I've been looking up info about the wii, and trying to decide whether or not to get it. (Ok... actually, Grandma and Grandpa would be getting it for my children... I have no money!)

Anyway, $250 is about their budget, and that's what I've read that the wii goes for. But when I look it up online, at any store, it's at least $400. Even on ebay it's close to that much.

I assume there is a difference in price because these units are bundled with games. Can I get one without games and purchase the games seperately? How much do individual games cost? What additional equipment would I need to make the unit functional?

To be honest, I really want to play with this, so I hope we can work it out!!!

Thanks for any help!

The Wii is $250. The prices depend on your retailers. I mean the prices will range from $200-$1000. The Will could be a few cents more or few cents less. I mean from $248-$251. The games are $49-$50. Nothing else to get the game functional, maybe except some AA batteries and a broadband connection (not satellite for peak performance like internet telephones or online gaming) if you want internet.

A regular Wii is 250, but that's only in stores and hard to get. There's on that's about 500 on GameStop, and that comes with games. Then there's EBay and those guys sell for many different price ranges. Individual games cost 30 to 50 dollars. Everything comes in the box to make it work, all you gave to get is accessories. You should probably get one or two more controllers and nunchuks. Nunchuks are attachments to the main controller.

Don't listen to that guy that gave you a link to get a free Wii. In the end, it's going to cost you a lot more than the 250 that's needed to buy a Wii because you have to subscribe to a lot of offers, and you also have to get a bunch of your friends to subscribe to those offers.

The Wii is 249.99 at most department, electronic, and game stores. Games can go anywhere from 34.99 to 49.99. Cheapest place to get games would be Costco, Sam's Club, or any other stores that requires a membership.
