T.O. is a highly competitive athelete and that translates to how he reacts to everything around him. He's the classic trash talker, much so like the Bengals Chad Johnson. I personally don't care for either one's attitude, but T.O. backs it up with his play on the field. This season was just ok though for him. T.O. has never been in trouble with the law like alot of the other playes and thats the main thing for me and he's never tested positive for any drugs.
So if the league can deal with Shawn Merriman, Tank Johnson and Ricky Williams, they should not have a problem dealing with T.O.

I don't like Owens any more than you do, but the NFL can't do that by law. That would be taking his means of support away. Of course, we all know he has enough money for the rest of his life, so he could live on what he has. I'm just telling you what the law says. Remember Steve Howe? He had five or six suspensions for cocaine use in the MLB. They tried a lifetime ban, but his lawyers fought it saying it would take away his means to support himself and his family. The NFL would run across that same roadblock. I wish all the GM's in the NFL would decide on their own not to sign him but somebody will.

Why, I would like to see him sign with the Bears, before the super bowl so Rex could have a great receiver to throw the ball to.

I think if the owners know what they are getting into when they sign him. It's a lot of publicity for the team, but it is AWAYS bad. I don't see why anyone would want him on their team.

Obviously the league cannot dictate that but...I think he should be blacklisted and no one should sign him . He is an outrage to the league and the most selfish person IN the league. I wish they could ban him.

I disagree. He is an asset to any team he is on (as long as you get him the ball and allow him to score at least 1 TD per game).

T.O. Is a inceredible player who just doesnt know how to keep his mouth shut. I think he was under utilized this season and he brought with him a lot of hype from the whole Eagles drama that over shadowed what he did as a reciever. Hopefully next season will bring a better turn around for him.

it,s a free will country so if he wants to play and a team is willing to put up with the distractions he's going to bring to the team then it's their coice if they want to sign him
