+++ MOST AMERICANS do not consider colin powell black. and opera is a chowder head who was at the right place at the right time, despite a paucity of talent. She was good in "Purple" but that is it.

Rangel, Sharpton, and Jackson are considered Gods to Democrats.
White Democrats bow to all of them.
(I love to watch White Democrats try to suck up to them.)

Yeah, I agree with the top guy. Rangel has no place in Congress. Al Sharpton? He is just a racist who likes to be in front of the camera. Both are making the Black population look bad. How about Colin Powell?

Right now, the great black leaders in the land are on the conservative side and have never been seen playing the "race" card:
Bill Cosby
Condoleeza Rice
Colin Powell
(Come to think of it, there aren't very many. The ones you named are among the most racist Americans I know and are making black Americans look really bad.)
Oh, hay, almost forgot Oprah. She's pretty darn impressive, liberal or not.
(Hey, gypsie: Jesse Jackson has his own radio talk show! You don't get more "high profile" than that. The reason you don't ever hear about him is because no one listens to the show!)

A toss-up between the both of them, though (as a Caucasian) I ADORE Al Sharpton. Talk about laying it on the line...
But I personally still believe the answer to your question is Jesse Jackson. I just wish he kept a higher profile these days.

very comparable to Rush, he spewed out ridiculous propaganda that the unintelligent believed in. Seeing the excess of idiots in u.s., he became particularly familiar in a quick volume of time.
