All my time owing my Uggs (over a year), I have always worn socks with them. But recently I heard that it is not mandatory to wear socks with them, and that a lot of people don't. So should you or shouldn't you wear socks with Uggs?

In my experience and opinion you should. If you dont wear socks with them your Uggs will become stinky and dirty inside. As well your feet will get sweaty if you dont wear socks with them.

well honestly it's completely up to you. i have uggs too and i wear them with or without socks. the reason people wear them without is because the sheepskin feels even more comfy when your in your bare feet. But after awile of constantly doing that your uggs could get kinda nasty inside. What i do is whenever i'm really rushed, or if i know that i won't be taking my shoes off that day, then i won't wear socks, but if not then socks all the way!!!:P

I suppose you could not wear socks, but that causes smell and is not as comfortable. Of course it isn't necessary, but a definent plus if you do.

youre not supposed to wear socks with uggs becaus they mold to your feet and socks prevent it. if you have smelly feet i would, but i never have with all 3 of mine and they are just fine. one pair is 4 years old an no smells to them ha

If you don't wear socks, you feet perspire more, which will cause your Uggs to smell. No, I prefer socks with mine, always.

you should always wear sucks with uggs cuz not only does it prevent sweating, but it keeps your feet from stinking! i wore uggs without socks once and my feet were sweating like crazy!

If your feet sweat, then wear sweats. When you really think about it, it's really gross when the fabric absorbs the sweat and your wear it again and again. On the tag, it says to wear them barefooted to experience the luxury and comfort, but I personally think they are just the same with socks.

whenever i don't wear socks w/ my uggs i get carpet burn or fur burn or wool or whatever the insides of uggs are called =] so wear socks

Nothing is mandatory.
They are comfertable both ways, I think more comfertable with, but whatever floats you boat.
They CAN start to smell without socks though.
