What is the big deal to wait to have sex??? Is there a cut off? "You must wait til the third hour, 26th minute of your 22nd Birthday???" God created boys & girls to go through puberty at an average age between 9-14. Girls have periods and can get pregnant - Boys get erections and BOTH desire it and are attracted to the opposite sex. So, why not??? "SOCIETY SAYS" it's immoral. What did the caveman do? Sex isn't an ugly, dirty thing. People have made it that way. It's natural, it's great, and it's how we reproduce.

people used to get married when they were younger. that is why puberty begins when it does. times have changed & young people need longer to mature in the society we have today.
if you can't afford to or are incapable of supporting a baby, then you are too young to have sex... which is the main reason for sex. whether moral or immoral. your parents should not have to raise your child for you. that is one reason that does not involve religion or morality.
it isn't an ugly, dirty thing if you at least wait for someone special. whoring yourself out is never a good idea. it has emotional and physical pain that results from such behavior.
sex is the greatest thing when it is between a husband and wife. i swear to you this is true. i did not believe it was true until i got married. through we did not wait until then, it became much deeper and just plain better than i could have ever imagined beforehand. it is an inexplainable thing....
getting a flashback of having sex with one of many ex boyfriends while having sex with your husband is NOT what you want... not cool. my sister has had this happen and truely haunts her. luckily i married my first & only.

Aside from the pregnancy at such an early age that would bind you to the baby for the next 18 years and the possibility of an STD that can result in death, there aren't very many downfalls. There are the broken hearts that will come along because the other girl is prettier, or she will understand him better, or there are a lot of other lame excuses that the guys will use to dump you. Not to mention the reputation that you will gain for being a slut as you seek experience. I think that you don't fully understand what is happening to your body as it is changing. I also think that you have confused lust for love. When you wait, and find the right one, you will have a very special bond with him, and then you can get all of the "experience" that you want. The reason that sex is sacred is because you are not a dog. You have emotions and you will get hurt every time a partner leaves you for someone else. You will cause the same pain every time you dump a guy. Sex between humans was intended to be sacred, not casual. It is very awesome in a loving relationship that should last the rest of your life, and it if awesome every time you "make love" with your spouse, but the type of sex that you desire is like going to McDonald's, it might be pleasant and satisfying while it lasts, but when it's over, it's like "so what?" The type of sex you want isn't special, and it will always disappoint you in the end.

According to the Word of God we are permitted to reproduce with our life mate only. Get married first. Back in the days of the Bible people were of marriage age at 13. Society is different now, but you can still get married at a reasonable age (i.e. my parents married @19yrs). Plopping babies out from a zillion different men is wrong in so many ways. The poor little bastard children need fathers. I dont get why people have babies without a mate, hello- having families is the whole point of marriage and sex and all that stuff. Its not society that says its immoral to have sex and babies without a life mate according to God.

Did you know that the average age for a woman to become married and pregnant years and years ago was between 15 and 18? As our society moves on, I think we are looking at people having sex when they are too young as morally wrong because they might not be mature enough to handle feelings that go along with sex. That's why I do not think that one should ever judge a younger person who is having sex until they know whether or not they are mature enough for sex.

It is best to wait not for a certain age, but for a certain amount of maturity and timing. Society doesn't say it is immoral to have sex and god does not either. They both want couples to be committed and not have pre-martial sex. People are less mature at an older age than they were historically. Just because you have sex, doesn't mean you are trying to reproduce. God WANTS married couples to have sex and enjoy each other.

We are made to "GIVE BIRTH" or "IMPREGNATE" young because until recently the life expectancy of human being was about 40-50 years old.
Religion, Society and our Culture creates rules, laws and "morality". Having sex when too young to care for the babies that can be created is considered "immoral" because it the young parents can't care for the baby alone so it unfairlly puts the burden of caring for the baby on the shoulders of the everybody else.
The distinction here is biological capability vs. cultural capacity.

Most 9-14 yr olds are not ready to have sex. God made sex beautiful and perfect inside the context of marriage because outside of it, it brings consequences....
We know the obvious physical ones and there is also emotional ones. When having sex you become one with the person and when things dont work out it can cause a lot of damage and heartache.....Sex makes marriage special.

there is nothing wrong with sex, but there is something wrong with people who are not yet capable of taking care of themselves taking the chance of possibly becoming parents. I don't even care about the kids that have the shild, what about the child itself? Should we just sit back and let them keep on popping out children they can't possibly care for?
If you would stop and think for just a second, this would be obvious to you. But people like you who don't take the time to think are everywhere these days, which is why our world is falling apart at the seams.

God didn't create boys and girls to go through puberty at 9 years of age little girl. Before the modern age and toxic chemicals/genetically modified food, humans didn't begin puberty until 16 and most didn't finish until nearly 20. Times have changed because WE destroyed the envorinment and our food supply.

God created sex for marriage, and to be done within marriage. Today everyone says it's ok to have sex before marriage but God says it's wrong. God doesn't tell us not to do something just for fun. There's a reason why He tells us not to do something. And what it is, is that God wants to protect us, but at times we don't see it and we think that we know what's best for our own lives when God Himself is the one that created us.
