MEMENTO DOUBLE EGO
My mind keeps asking, pondering,
Wondering how it felt to witness pale
In cheeks and blue in lips; my soul
Quivers in grief and sorrow for he
Who innocent was of such discovery:
An inert prey of helpless despair,
One who endeavoured to blind life's fair
And thus with calm of own create new pain.
Poor Creator! The Eye of such deed!
To cause him such deep hurt, no need;
The earthly perpetrator of self doom
Has left a hopeless sigh on father gloom.
Though he bask in his ever-weeping tomb,
His souls and heir amongst us oft will loom.
