I only star very legitimate, thoughtful questions. I do so because I know that these questions go directly to YA and they read them. If you star 'dumb' or 'racy' questions, that person will receive a violation and so will the people who answered with anything that isn't along the guidelines they set. I have thought since I first saw the stars that they were another way for YA to send out violations and I'm pretty sure I'm right because the number of violations people are receiving has increased since this started.

I star most questions I answer if I like them and I certainly hope people don't use this as a way to choose best answer. I always choose best answer before I see who starred me.

When I thik it is a really interesting question..
I also always go back and star it if I was Best Answerer, it only seems fair.

I star a question when I think it's a good question....kinda like a thumbs up.
Maybe I should read about what the star means.

I never knew about the star thing till you asked the question.
I'm still not sure what it does.

When I think the question is interesting and original.
I hardly ever give an interesting or original answer, so my expectations on best answer are low.
