Kaavya Viswanathan - How Opal Mehta Got Kissed, Got Wild, and Got A Life: A Novel
I thought this was quite funny - easy, passive reading. Didn't get great reviews on Amazon, but i enjoyed it. Don't expect it to change your life, but it's funny!

Hari Kunzru's "Transmission" has some hilarious bits in it. He has a very clever, sharp writing style that's very enjoyable to read. I can't think of any romantic Indian authors off the top of my head at this moment.
