I ran across a saltwater fish once a couple of years ago. I was white with perfect black polka dots, and i don't know how else to explain it, except that it reminded me of a flowy silk blouse. I really want to purchase one, and cannot seem to find it online. please help....this is my dream fish!

this fish was definitely NOT a Panther (or dalmation) Grouper. I don't have a pic and i can't find a pic of it anywhere online, (otherwise i may be able to identify it:) it was only about 2.5-3.5 " long and floated along the bottom. very flowy. i'm sorry, i don't have anymore details, i only saw it once at Petco. thank you for your answers, your input is much appreciated:)

Could it be a Panther/Polka Dot Grouper? The Panther Grouper, also known as the Polka-Dot Grouper can attain a size of up to 15". They grow rapidly, so be sure that the tank you have them in is of sufficient size. The polka-dots camouflage the fish. A carnivore , it eats meaty treats (like krill, small fish, shrimp). A long-lived animal provided it is kept in an ample-sized, fish-only aquarium of 90 gallons or larger. Since groupers are generally larger fish, it is recommended waste removal efforts be increased within the aquarium system and a good filtration system be in place. Panther Groupers like all groupers are predators and swallow other fish whole. They can and will eat fish almost as large as they are. For this reason great care must be taken when selecting other fish to inhabit the same aquarium. The Panther Grouper prefers to lurk and wait for its prey therefore, they are often seen up in one corner of the aquarium or against some rocks or decoration waiting for something to come by.

Panther Grouper (cromileptes altivelis) These fish get 24" and need a 300 gallon tank. They need a high ph and high kh. They are aggressive carnivores who can't be housed with many species. They aren't for beginners and their care will run you out of a lot of money. You can find them at liveaquaria.com

the 1st one with the top reel may be the greater effective of the two, south bend rods are no longer the single you desire,it extremely is a low-priced one.the quantum reel is large, however the rod,no longer lots.I fish Cape Cod usually, and that i take advantage of PENN equipment that has lasted me an prolonged time.i does no longer purchase them you're gazing, for greater desirable than 50.00 finished.they are used, and you haven't any longer any thought how they have been cared for,if the reel even works properly sufficient to apply on the same time as quickly as.you will be able to desire to attend till you're on the Cape, and get a astonishing one at a handle save there for greater effective money, and you will no longer could shuttle w/it to get it there, only could p.c.. it for the holiday living house.there are a number of bait and handle shops on the Cape,or close to it sufficient to get a astonishing one for low-priced.craigslist can take you.a 10 footer, and a salt water reel could be had on the Cape for 80.00.try REDTOP on direction 6,only earlier you circulate onto the Cape,on the mainland area of the canal, they have fairly some equipment, and repair what they sell.you will get a greater effective deal.

What is the body shape. Describe it the best you possibly, don't leave out any information. Describe the body shape, size/shape of the fins, anything will help. Just telling the color means nothing because there are so many different color morphs of fish.
