Jump the shark means the show's gone off-course and become unrealisic or hokey. With the bad guy from the consortium turning out to be Jack's brother (Graham?) and his wife being Jack's ex-girlfriend, does the son turn out to really be Jacks? And doesn't that turn the show into a soap opera?

No, this is great because it's different. Unrealistic is the president of the United States being the villain...wait, nevermind, lol. But in all seriousness, I think we need to wait until this next episode to figure it all out. I mean, the possibility of Jack having to kill his own brother? That's sick - and awesome!

Close, but I don't think so. We still have to learn more about the Bauer dynamic between Jack, Graham and their father. However, if the son turns out to be Jack's, then it will be a jump the shark moment.

Are you joking?

This is potentially the greatest plot twist in the history of television. The writers are entirely due for an award on this one.

Ha ha! OMG, years of terrorism, all because of a woman!
