i want to buy a new game system but i dont know which one to get, what would you recommend

If you're not a hardcore gamer, then go with the Wii. It's only 250, which isn't a lot of pay for a machine that you're going to use once in a while. The Wii games are quick games that you can pick up and play for 10 or 15 minutes at a time.
If you're really hardcore, then go with the PS3 or the 360. It really depends on what type of games you're into. If you like first person shooter, go with the 360. If you like RPG, then go with the PS3. Don't let the PS3's 600 buck price fool you. It's 600 bucks for a reason, it includes a Blu-ray player. If you want to watch HD-DVD on the 360, you'll have to shell out 200 bucks to get the HD-DVD player add-on.

Definitely Wii. Xbox 360 is already an old technology and PS3 is way too expensive and boring despite of its high-quality graphics. Wii doesn't only have the best game play, but it's the one with the highest demand right now. PS3 is already available in any walmart or games store, so is 360. But I have been looking for the Nintendo Wii ever since it came out and have not found one yet. Take your pick.

I'd recommened a Wii if you're really not into gaming and you just pick up the sticks every now and then.
I'd recommend the 360 if you want to be able to download HD movies, TV shows, network your 360 to your computer to stream movies, pictures, music, play online mutiplayer games, and have a great selection of games.
I'd recommend a PS3 if you want a BluRay player to watch HD movies in 1080p, play some cool exclusive games like Devil May Cry, Metal Gear Solid 4 and Resistance. The PS3 also has a pretty cool online network, but in my opinion it is lacking is some areas.

If you want something just to have it, get a Wii
if you want a cheap blu ray player with basically no other current use, PS3
if you want great games and an amazing online service, Xbox 360.

ok dude Bill Gates has over 53 BILLION dollars. With all that money to make a game system i would stay with Bill. Beside im pretty sure your computer software is Mircosoft(so stay with Mircosoft). Hope u find the one that makes u happy

Wii i own it it makes you get up and play it slightly better than just sitting on the couch pushing buttons
