If you want to put songs on your iPod, you use iTunes. To get FREE songs and videos on your iPod you should use Limewire. The site is,

www.limewire.com

Hope it helps!

I have a iPod nano too and for a while I had to buy my music from iTunes until I looked up on the inernet how to get free music. First I downloaded Limewire (you can find this download at www.limewire.com) then I downloaded all of the music that I wanted. After that I clicked on LIBRARY (at the top of the screen). And after that I pretty much just click on one of my already downloaded songs and drag it on to mu iTunes music library. Then sync your iPod. Then you are all done! Hope this helped!

I would recommend Limewire, because it is free, compared to Itunes, also I would recommend getting musicmatch also, so that you can make the files compact so you will be able to put more songs on the ipod. try out these two sites..
www.musicmatch.com
www.limewire.com

for the limewire one I would recommend that you upgrade to the pro verson for 15 dollars because then you would get better quality of music.
