I have some gasoline stains on the linoluem floor in my kitchen. I have scrubbed them and they won't come out. What can I do?

Problem is the stain has probably worked it's way deep into the linoleum by now and can not be lifted. You may have to cut the piece out and replace with an extra piece or a piece cut from some inconspicuous spot such as under the refrigerator. Contact a flooring specialist on how to do this. (Of course they'll be willing to sell you a new floor.) If you are lucky, your floor was not glued down, but rather floated so cut and paste will be easy.....and you will need to glue the patches down.

I'm betting your only option is replacing the linoluem, chemicals like gas if left on the surface for any time at all destroy the protective top coat

Try an ammonia-based solution.
