download itunes and then you can either put all the songs off your cds or buy songs of itunes and then you just plug up you ipod and all the sonngs on the itunes goes to it and its just like that
really easy...

You have to install the software that came with your ipod (a CD). Then you have to install itunes. after that, you have to plug your ipod into the computer using a USB cable. Plug that into the USB port on your computer, normally in the back, which works the best, but some computers have a USB port in the front. now you can either put a CD of your own into the CD drive of your computer, where itunes will extract the songs that you want into the library and transfer them to your ipod. or you can set up an online itunes account where you can purchase single songs from itunes.com. Hint with ipods, you cannot put songs purchased from walmart.com onto your ipod. I dont know why this is, but it just doesnt work.

Do you have a computer? If so then upload your music to your computer if it is already there then good, you then make sure you are using itunes program (comes with ipod or you can download it for free itunes7) Put the songs you want on itunes library and then attach cable to ipod and the other usb to your compputer and press update or it will do it automatically! 1. Download iTunes:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
2. Either buy songs at the iTunes store or put a cd in your computer and upload the songs to your iTunes.
3. Plug in your iPod.
4. Your iPod should automatically open iTunes, if it is your first time using your iPod with iTunes you may have to wait just a tish before the iTunes will open.
5. iTunes will ask you to register you iPod, i think.
6. iTunes will automatically update your iPod to play whatever is in your iTunes library.
7. After it is finished updating it will tell you in the screen when it is safe to remove your iPod.
8. Try it out!

1- open itunes (it says how to do this in the manual)
2- click on the store.
3- type in the music you want in the search bar
4- once you found the song, click buy and it will start to download. you will see the progress on the side bar
5- once it's downloaded, click the purchased button and drag and drop the music on the name. it will say, if ur name is bob, "bob's ipod" drop it ther
6- then take ur ipod out of the cord and enjoy!
By the way, songs cost $1 each on itunes, unless u want to illegaly download them.

u need to open up either, i tunes, or limeware. i perfer lime wear. then u download the songs u want on your ipod. next u highlight the song/s u wanna put in ur ipod and in limewaer u should see a button that says "EXPLORE". click on it. it will give u a list of songs u have downloaded before or have downloaded recently. next u open windows media player and u click on the synchronize tab. and it says create list. u just drag the song names on the part where the list is. yes i know its kinda complicated. i had a problem with that also. best of luck!;)

U need to go onto itunes.com then sign up and register ur ipod. Then u need to download the itunes. Once it's downloaded u just need to buy the music u want on it or transfer music from Cd's onto it and it will download automatically onto the ipod.

but here's the catch: you have to BUY the songs, but don't worry, they really cheap.
4. Enjoy!
oh, yeah and also if you have a cd that has songs on it that you would like to have on your ipod then you stick your cd in and all the songs will pop up. see for yourself! good luck ;)

If you have some were you could download music and if you have the usb cable just plug in the cable and then when you got something downloaded then do copy and then were ever your ipod is in out paste and thats all.

Do you have Itunes? If you do, download LIMEWIRE from the internet and download the songs you want (its free). Then, go to your library and click all the songs you want on you Ipod and click Entique. The, click "Save As" and make a name for it. Then go to Itunes and go to "File" then go to "Import". Click on the file that you saved on Limewire and it will show up in your library. Then connect your Ipod and click "Sinc"
