I have a Acer Aspire 3004WLCi laptop and supposedly need a new/updated video card for it in order to play the Sims 2 on it. Does anyone know how/where i can get or download a new one?

you can neither upgrade nor download the video card for your laptop. the most graphics card on laptops are integrated on the mainboard and therefore you stuck with it.
to play Sims 2 you need a new computer or you can try if it works on the Acer if you set the game to the lowest frame rates (but i doubt it will work. i guess you asking this question because you cannot install the game due to the installation routine that checks the graphics card and denies to install the game).

i do not recognize that diverse type yet very almost no laptops have video playing cards. they have onboard portraits, that's only a chip equipped into the motherboard. you won't be able to replace or improve it.
