Go to Start, All Programs, Accesories, System Tools, System Restore.

Choose a date/time before you installed IE7 to restore your PC.

If you uninstall IE7 through Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel make sure that you have show all Windows components checked. If not IE7 will not show up in the list. I would download and save IE6 first before removing IE7. That way after you delete IE7 you can just click the install program for IE6 and it'll go out to the web to get anything you might need. If you do it the other way how could you browse to get IE6.

oh! isn't 7 terrible?!? even ms folks hate it. no, do it right: uninstall the sucka. then go to www.microsoft.com and search for internet explorer 6 (whatever is the newest version of ie6). install that. then go back to that site and have it look to see if you need any security patches, upgrades, etc., and then take them.

start fresh.

(i would not want netscape, firefox, etc., myself just because ie is recognized by almost every website around the world, but they are not).

you can always search for internet explorer 6 on the net and download it that way or if your computer has a system restore or the program go back in it, then you should be able to revert your comp back to a different time when it wasn't installed, hope that helps

i've grown to love Opera browser. though some websites aren't supported with the browser i haven't been to enough for it to be a pain. i can't stand IE. i don't really like firefox unless i can't access a site via opera. but my happy choices are netscape and opera.
