if you kill my cat, and you get arrested, does that fix that fact that you killed my cat?

this has never happened to me, but i read it in a book. they were using it as a sort of metaphor thing.i meant does it fix the fact that im still without a cat?

No first off I would never kill a cat intentionally. I mean yes I've had one run out in front of my truck and I couldn't stop in time but I would never intentionally hurt any animal.

It sure doesn't bring the cat back, but the person atoned for the wrong by being arrested. Find another cat to love and keep him inside.

No, but if it's on my property I have the right to kill it. Same with dogs too.

No not at all, but it might teach them a lesson that they cant get away with stuff like that.
