It really depends on what your using it for. Apple is for home. IBM for Point of Sale.

It depends on what you are doing. If you are doing stuff like editing a picture, movie, or audio, I would choose Apple. Otherwise, I would use IBM. It can also edit media kinda good but it pretty much is better. IBMs are compatible with more things and are just... better.

I own both an Apple and a PC and my Apple (MAC) is by far the better computer. It runs solid with no spyware or virus problems. My PC (HP) is loaded with anti spyware, anti-virus programs just to be sure it stays "clean." IBM is just a brand name and is only one manyfacturer of the PC line of computers

This question has been asked for decades now...

Apple is more expensive, arguably more reliable, more virus-resistant and runs A/V faster. It works very well with animation and photo programs and is probably the best all-around machine for home and recreational use.

PC's are great for businesses because of their easily expandable architecture and ability to program the O.S. for varying venues. It's also designed to seamlessly run with Windows and Office without the use of an emmulator and so is a favorite with offices using Word, Excel and Access. They're also more affordable and sadly more viruses are designed to attack PC's than Macs.

So it really boils down to what you want your computer for...

Depends on what you're using it for:

Apple = photo, video, and music editing (art stuff)

IBM = business
