i get straight A's on my report card. and i have blonde hair. and im skinny. so if you were to complement me. what would you say?

If you want complements then go out and do something worthy of them. You wouldn't need to ask someone for complements if you genuinely are doing well in school, I'm sure that you get enough already. Fishing for complements from total strangers is pointless, and won't make you feel better anyway. You sound like you could probably have a laundry list of complements on your own. Maybe thats why the BF didn't stick around.

I'd say you are full of yourself and your self-esteem must be pretty crappy if you need compliments and reassurance from complete strangers. Blonde hair, thin, and smart aren't all that uncommon you know?

Complement means to go well with (e.g. that blue shirt complements your eyes).
Compliment means to say nice things about someone.
So I guess my compliment would be "you make good grades for such a lousy speller".
