Ever since birth everyone in my family, school, and now work calls me "Blondie" because of my light champagn color blonde hair.
Anyone else out there with the name "Blondie"?? If so, where did it come from??

Blondie (the band) got its name from the comments from truck drivers who called "Hey, Blondie" to Debbie Harry (lead singer of Blondie who was blonde) as they drove by. I'm not blonde, but I have a well known love of the band and everyone I know thinks of me and thinks of Blondie!

they never called me blondie, probably because everyone in my family was blonde..this has been my nickname since i was 3

Every once in a while someone will call me that as if they just made it up for the first time. I just give them a dirty look and they stop.
