Do you think gender and race has an effect on each other when it comes to racism, discrimination, internalized racism, etc... From reading some books and essays i came to conclusion that African American women are prejudiced against more. They have much more pressure to become "white (such as straightening their hair, bleaching their skin, getting nose surgery" and that pressure takes a toll on them. Why do you think that females of people of color are discriminated against more?? And what about other race categories such as Asians, Whites, Latinos? For each race which racial group do you think experiences more racism, discrimination, and has more pressure to become white and what would be the reason for it??. In my opinion i think Asian males are discriminated against more because Asian females are seen as sexual for men so they are more accepted in our society than Asian males. What are your opinions? Thanx in advance!!!!!!!!

I disagree with you stereotype of the pressure on African American women... I don't feel the pressure to look white? On the contrary I'm proudly 100% black.

I believe the black male suffers the most racism and prejudice. As people automatically assume that they are dangerous and most men of other ethnicities are most often than not intimidated by them

PS: I had my hair straightened because of It was extremely voluminous. I don't even need those extensions for volume as I have one very full head of hair.

My opinion is that the racial thing is going too far. If someone doesn't get their way, then it's racism. Even illegal immigrants....are claiming racism to justify them being in America. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for immigration...but do it legally. I'm getting off of the point...to me, it's not the 1960s anymore........everyone has a chance.....to do something with their lives in the US, so they need to quit blaming it on their enviornment.....quit blaming their heritage...quit justifying crime,...and get education while they can. May God bless us all.
