It ruins the show for the other guests watching it.
I've had flash bulbs go off from the other side in that show and its painful!!

Imagine sitting through a performance at the Enchanted Tiki Room, to have 10-20 flashes going off every other minute...or more!! It would be distracting, irritating and just plain rude! I get irritated when people take pictures with a flash at a restaurant! But that's just me!

Because seeing flashes from someone's camera every two seconds can ruin some people's experience of that attraction, that's why. It's just courtesy.
For example: I've been to Disneyland an insane amount of times (having worked there for 4 years), but on one particular boat ride through Pirates of the Carribean, two girls in the back row were taking pictures like crazy and the entire boat was PISSED! They reported the girls, they were so mad. Personally didn't bother ME, but I do see teh point of view of the other passengers on the boat.

Older guests have complained of the flashes from cameras. Infact a lot of the rides have adopted that rule.
Sometimes the Tiki Room has real people on the stage.

Because it bugs some people...they may get hurt or something.
But there is still some people who never follow rules and do flas phtography...I still think it's a great show.

It's probably because a lot of people are sitting right across from you and they don't want the experience to be runied for them.

Because of other guests. If other guests are particularly sensitive to strobe lights, it can cause seizures.
