I love this movie and i have the regular version but i went online and saw that there was a collectors edition and i wanna know if it is worth buying

I also Love the movie AND I did buy the 3-disc collectors edition.
First of all, the slip case and inner case is beautiful. When you first open it, there are two wonderful pictures of the two stars.
There is also a version with an alternate ending. I haven't watched it yet, but will this weekend. I always wondered what would have happened if she would have helped him up on the make shift raft she was on and they both survived.

Hello, I just bought this for myself for Christmas. I had only had it on VHS previously. If you enjoy commentarys they have one with James Camron and Kate Winselt. There is also a historical commentary that I havent seen. What bothers me is that they put half of the movie on disc 1 and half on the commentary on disc 1. Why cant they just put the movie on one disc and the commentary on another rather than splitting it in half?!? There are many deleted scenes. You can find some on YouTube and other websites but there are a lot more on the DVD than on websites. There is a lot about the history of Titanic. It comes in an awesome box, when you open it up there is a picture of Jack and Rose! If this is a movie you really love or you like the history of Tianic... I would suggest buying it.

The collectors edition has more deleted scenes and whatnot, though once you've seen tham all it's a waste, but i got by at $55 so its up to you but there is the same basic features just a few more details about the film

It has a bunch of deleted scenes and an alternate ending plus some other stuff. Just a bunch of extras. The alternate endings kinda funny.
