But would anyone advise me on what they think would be a fair maintenance payment for a child.... I already have 2 which i pay for by mutual agreement and have just found out that I have another one. I will support it but at the same time I need to live my life and i just wondered that it may be financially cheaper if I went through the CSA this time..... any advice would be appreciated

I wouldn't touch the CSA with a barge pole, they can't collect £100p/w for my two causing debt (£32k), it's dependant on your salary look it up on the calculations site below and go from there, but get a solicitor to sign n seal it!

My hat goes off to you for being willing, well done!

and for those who say 'the rest of us pay for it!' no one is paying for me, but the government have no problem in paying £2m out show people how to wash there hands!! Have a go at Dads WHO AREN'T paying not those who are prepared to do so!

Is it me or have alot of people removed there answers?

We can't answer that as there are so many factors when the CSA calculate the amount.

Contact your local CAB - and invest in some Durex

You should have it formulated by the court formula. (maybe you can pull that online in your area). That formula takes into account the mother's income too. it also caluculates based on visitation. Good luck.

Sounds like you've been living your life. You can't deny the responsibility of your children. Pay up and keep it in your pants.
