that car as a 4t40e trans, there is no dipstick for the trans. you check by KEEPING CAR LEVEL and remove the plug above the right hand axle with car running you fill thru the fill port (red cap on top of trans usually underneath exhaust crossover pipe so be careful not to burn yourself) intill fluid starts to come out full plug

For an auto. trans., it is close to the back of the intake manifold, near the firewall, closer to the driver's side than the passengers. For a manual trans., it is down near the right axle. A lot of these use either a plug where it is go or no go as far as the level is good if it leaks a little when the plug is removed or more likely it has a midget stick close the top of the trans. output on the right side. Be sure to clean the area off so as not to get a bunch of crap inside when it is removed. Good luck.

It could be where the answerer above but it may be one of those sealed transmissions as well. If it is sealed then you cannot check the level.

It doesn't have one, you have to put it up on a rack and it has a bolt that you take out and have to stick your finger in and check to see if you can feel the fluid.
