i've always like king snakes the best. the fact that they can withstand the bite of a rattlesnake always fascinated me. i always thought it would be cool to feed a live venomous snake to my pet king...

I have 4 nelsons milks, 5 california kings, 2 thayeri kings, and 2 arizona mountain kings. Each species has their own positives and negatives. The nelsons and arizonas have very nice dispositions, but sometimes can be a little finicky during feeding. The cal kings tend to want to eat first, ask questions later, whether it be my hand, a mouse or otherwise, but still good snakes. The thayeri I have only had for about a year, but they are wonderful animals, both in disposition and a good feeding response.

milk or kings. I would have to say milks just because there colors are better. I personally tend to like pythons more that both though, but still they are cool.

Milks because of their colors, or a Arizona or Cali mountain king.

I find that kingsnakes tend to be a bit more active during the morning/evening, and less likely to hide than milksnakes, but there's a lot of different species of both families of snakes so I'm sure that's not a hard and fast rule...

Mind you I haven't met a snake I didn't like yet :D
