Probably when my parents grew up.. they were born in the 60's... but i think now is a great time too.

The period I love in history is:
* Renaissance: the birth of a new mankind, a new way of seeing the world, a colorful and productive epoch.
I would have chosen also the 30's, 40's and early 50's in the glamourous Hollywood, being a film star like Sophia Loren, Bette Davies, Katherine Hepburn or Audrey Hepburn.

I can't think of a better time. Go any farther back and women just got **** on for the most part.
I have no doubt that none of those eras were as good as they've been made out to be. The 50's were probably not as carefree a time as depicted.
If I could go back as a man - or time travel and be able to carry a few items with me, that would be cool though.

I would rather grow up with different parents 50-100 years in the future. Maybe then so much racism and discrimination would not exist.

I think i would have fit in as a teen in the 80's or in the Victorian Era. These two time periods represent the two different sides to my personality.

I would love to have been born around 1950. But then again, I would love to have been born when the Library at Alexandria was in full swing - around 100 BC.

Yeah you would have had to been white to have a good life in those times : ( I think I would have wanted to grow up in the late 90s. Technology was so much cooler

The 90s! There were no wars going on, MTV still played music, music was good, the syle of dress was different (no one made fun of you for dressing like a bum), and the "fat" of today would've been considered skinny then. Teens were more immature and little girls didn't dress like skanks. ALSO, there were some of the best TV shows. EXACTLY!!!!

so many to choose from....I think I would have liked to live in rome at the height of its peak before the fall......I would want to be a priestess of Athena. Also I would have liked to live on the frontier before the west was settled...

I would have liked to have been a lawman in the 1880's, as the west was being settled.
