Clam, I think it is just great that you are saving that pink, puckered pooter of yours for Mr Right. You will probably
squeal like a little piggy on your wedding night, to the great delight of your biker, tough guy husband!

I think that many people, straight or gay, think that staying a virgin is somehow abnormal. It is a sad thing really. It just tells you that some people do not like to be confronted with people who are different in any way. Perhaps it is because they don't understand how anyone could possibly be human and hold out, or that some people place a higher value on themselves, sex, and their bodies. I waited until I was 21 and married, but I only have one other friend who waited as well. It made me sad to listen to my other friends who didn't wait and then regretted it, or got pregnant.

Be proud! Be confident! Ask questions back. "Why do you think it is so odd to wait for the right person?" It will make people step back, and It will hopefully make other people think about their own choices.

I think that is wonderful. I am saving myself as well. Don't let anyone tell you that you are strange. It's ignorant for them to think that all gay men sleep around. It's just not true.

Yay, I'm not alone. I'm a 19 year old gay virgin, and i'm saving myself. It's sad that most gay people sleep around and get diseases.

YAY!! Snaps 4 you!!

Good for you for saving yourself. Being with that "special one" will mean a lot more if you haven't "done it all before" with someone.... slightly less "special".

People throw around their sexuality so much these days, sex has lost so much of it's intimacy.

Keep up with the virgin thing; it works for you.

Its NOT that people think being a virgin is bad, its just that they consider people who are virgins to be "unable to get sex." They don't STOP to think that the person may not WANT SEX or they may want it, but desire to wait until they find the right guy to do it with. How could that happen, when EVERYONE ELSE seems to want it badly and give up so easily? So, if the person is a virgin it must mean they are a loser and just can't get it!

This is faulty thinking. What it actually means is that the person RESPECTS themselves AND their potential mate enough to wait. Big difference.

CONGRATULATIONS to you and your Mr. Right when you find him!

Hey, all the power to you. Now does that mean you dont do ANYTHING, not even oral? Just make sure you dont set yourself up for a disappointment. I'm not saying to go slut around or anything; it's just that the people we think of sometimes as "the one" usually isn't.

OK, congratulations.
Only ignorant people would make such a bigoted generalization about LGBT people anyway. You need to learn to ignore such trolls.

Good for you for hold out for what you're really looking for, and not settling for what's merely available! More power to you!

hey good for you.. there's no right or wrong time to have sex. we all make these decisions for ourselves based on our own value system.. you are not strange at all.. you are one of few people that appreciate that sex without love is meaningless. congrats for saving it for someone special!
