You forgot that alot of teams that win the first coin toss, decide they would rather kick off at the start of the game and recieve the kickoff after half time.
Two coin toss's would stop teams from being able to do that.

Makes no sense. One team could get the ball first each half and thus have more posessions. The coin toss should not have that big of a part in a football game.

a pro football hall of famer like Mike Ditka or something. and i more thing there is no after halftime coin toss. its only @ the begining of the game. No it doesnt make a difference who wins it, and are you talking about Super Bowl XLI

the one thing the XFL offered us that was good was the "Scram" (?), inwhere a designated player from each team would stand at the 40 and try to gain possesion of a ball dropped by a ref at the 50. the winner getting the call. that, I could do twice a game.

that is just stupid. that is why coaches want the coin toss in the first place. having 2 can destroy the coaching strategy

I like someone who is always thinking of a better way.
However - this would not be practical - the current way is the most fair to both teams.
