the best way to gain confidence in something is just by doing it. when you do something and do it well you naturally become more confident in your ability to do it because you know u can. I remember a few years ago when I first got my license. I never had a confidence issue, but I was a lil bit nervous about taking my driving test. After I passed loosing only a point for going 1 mile over the speed limit, my confidence in driving was sky high as I rolled into my high school parking lot with everyone checking out my ride. Jus drive around and have fun doing it. if your instructor says your doing better then take his words to heart and be confident in your ability

You: the best driver on the road
Everyone else: idiots

I still drive this way after 20 years and it works. If some one is tooting you, they are a buttmunch. There is a L plate on your car and they should treat you as such. Do not be intimidated. If you have a decent instructor he will have dual pedals so can sort out any situation. Do not worry. Like I said, drive for yourself. Do not worry about other road users. They were learners once. And wear a short skirt to your test, presuming you are a girl

i'm not sure how old you are, but if you have someone who is over 21 and has held a licence for 2 years at least who you feel confident around, and you know they wont laugh or make you feel worse, try asking and see if they will take you out for extra driving practice. the more practice you can get, the better. my dad used to take me out once a week, and i would have lessons with my instructor once a week. i was nervous to start, but having the extra practice in a car that isn't controlled by my instructor too gave me the chance to see that i really could drive a car myself, and gave me the confidence to take my test and get through it.

i wish you the best of luck! :-)

If there turned right into a weak spot on your utilising, something you should do or upload for your workouts to assist decrease your negative aspects. you may want to attempt this your self, or through a professional. you should: call a community utilising instructor. they are going to be more suitable than chuffed to bypass out for some hours and grant you with some suggestion. connect RoSPA or IAM develop utilising communities. they are going to grant loose suggestion. Use some type of self belief progression like hypnotherapy or CBT. wish this helps. maximum heavily, use it as a reminder it is nice to stay alert and on properly of issues. Don't fret too much. I started learning driving at 16 and earned my driver's license shortly after. I was pretty nervous... especially entering freeways. After driver's ed... I did really well on the written and driving test. The apprehension will slowly disappear.

I'm 40 now (so, driving for 24 years).... no accidents or tickets. You can do it too!

Just stand at a junction ( intersection) for 10 or 15 minutes and look at all the people who are driving past.

Look at all those people and think "if they can do it, I can do it".

sorry - can't help you here - don't enjoy driving myself - would say be confident and careful don't worry about other people - just make sure you don't make any mistakes personally - then it will be their fault - not yours
