This varies depending on your weight but most people could survive about 16 to 20 days without food. If you are extremely overwright, you have extra energy to burn so you will probably be able to last much longer. Also, your last meal could make a difference. If you eat a food high in complex carbohydrates, then you would last longer. An example of a high carbohydrate food is spaghetti or other pasta. If you eat a starchy food like McDonalds fries, then that is going to break down much faster. In terms of water, you can only survive about 3 days.

my mother had a strike with 5 others, they stayed 28 days without food then they were moved to hospital.
1 of them got paralysis (she cant walk now)
my mother gradually developed vitligo
the rest was fine
now these were some live examples if u may!
a body can survive on no food depending on the size and conditions of the person, also things like their metabolic rate ...etc
theoratically, a person with no food can survive for long but he/she will develop conditions of which might be fatal. so the person will not die from the lack of food directly but will die from the consequences of not having food which are essential not only for energy but for carrying out normal body functions.

Usually, people begin to suffer from vitamin deficiencies, which is what kills them rather than the lack of protein. We may take the Biblical record as accurate, that people have gone without eating for 40 days at a time; this probably required preparation for the ordeal, and avoided physical exertion. I would not recommend it to anybody without direct orders from on high.
If you were to take water and dietary supplements (vitamins and minerals), you might be able to last a while before dying. You would be debilitated and very sick and weak toward the end, though. Your musculature would be depleted (atrophied) as your body drew upon its reserves. You would wind up looking like one of those pitiful babies from Biafra or Ethiopia, only without the deficiency diseases.

Depends on the fluid. If its Newcastle Brown Ale I couldn't go more than 3 of them without food. In fact after 3 of them I would kill for a kebab. Seriously.

Its a few days without water, as it depends on exertion and location. A person in the UK will lose 2.5 litres in a normal day.
Food can normally be done without for about 2/3 weeks, depending on the current level of nourishment/body fat.

this is very much dependant on a person's size and their nutritional status prior to being without food. an overweight person may not necessarily live longer, they may have good fat stores to break down to create energy but obese people are often malnourished due to poor diets and the body cannot store other essentials like proteins like it can store fats. people who die of starvation usually die of electrolyte imbalances eg. potassium or sodium which are essential for the correct function of all mechanisms in the body such as the contractility of the heart muscle or nerve function. you often hear of anorexics dying of heart attacks which is usually as a result of these imbalances or deficiencies

3 days without water? Water is abundant in food, then fats take over the role!
